First off, ignore the pitman arm not being all the way on. I know...

This started about 2 weeks ago and I thought it may be a tie rod end or a hub popping. Only does it turning left and at a certain spot. If I turn I softly it won't do it. I felt around for the noise while a buddy was turning and when I felt the pitman arm and steering box I could feel it when it popped. The pop that I felt didn't seem as hard as the noise sounds feeling at the steering box and pitman arm. I checked the steering link goon from the steering wheel to the back of the box and it's not loose and the u-joint on it downs have any play in it either. All the tie rods are good and the adjustment collar on the drag link is tight also. The bolts holding the box in are tight also. What else should I check? The noise is originating from the steering box area.

Anxiously waiting for some input. I'm dealing with the same(?) thing. A definite "popping" sound/feel that I've only really noticed when turning left (and the popping sounds/feels like it's primarilly coming from the left-ish side). When I first installed my adjustable track bar, it got loose a day or two after install and there was some popping/groaning coming from it then, so I'm hopefull it'll be just that easy to pin it down again.

Last night I cranked down on my track bar mount and I didn't notice anything on the way in to work this morning, but . . . it was early and I probably wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been.

Tighten up your track rod bracket to left frame rail bolts even though they look fine.
