so im chasing my dw for the third time i went under there again had somone turn the wheel finally seen some play in the steering box the shaft that the piman arm bolts to. so question is do i have to replace the whole steering box and maybe buy a brace for the new one ????? i seem to get the most wobble around 50 taking a left turn

also just put in new sway bar end links went with zone fixed for 3" lift working good so far easy bolt on

 

can you adjust the play out of the steering box just watched a vid on it

 

Rock auto has em for $50 plus a $40 core charge. Or you can go ahead and do a Durango box upgrade from a 99 v8 Durango non snow plow package. Or you can try to tighten it.

 

well if i was going to buy a new box should i buy the durango one is it bolt on
