Default Steel wheels

Just curious, has anyone bought a set of the basic black steel wheels from JC whitney. Not the bullit hole ones the other ones. the 49.99 ones. Just want to know if they are worth a flip. I like the look of a black wheel so I may change over to that from stock. What offset should I run if I want them to stick out of the fenders a little but not a hole lot. Also, if you did buy them, did they come with the center caps

i don't get the feeling from their website that you will have a choice on back spacing. to get the "look" that you're going for you'll want 15x8s with 4"-3.5" backspacing and the appropriate size tire that will fit what ever lift size you have or don't have. 235/75R15 for stock suspension. instead check out blackrock rims

and my personal favorite...

i just got my rims today from summitracing.com, cragar V-5s, black, 15"x8", 3.75" for $42.99 a piece, I looked around for a while and idk if your gonna find rims much cheaper than that. you can get the soft 8s in the same size for the same pirce. they dont come with center caps or valve stems, but i got some gorilla brand center caps for $3.99 a piece that are just as functional as the cragar brand ones for $13.99 a piece.

remember steel is alot heavier than aluminum wheels and will play with your MPG.

I got Cragers from summit and they were $39 bucks a piece and they were Cragers not their brand. Yes they weigh a bit more but I run 35s so it isn't a big issue. I have cracked alloy wheels on the trail and bent steel. A hammer fixes the steel on the trail and the alloy well you better have a spare.
