HI there im a newbie here my first post.. let me give u a briev description of my xj.
89, headers, bored tb, tb spacer, 21lb inj, k n cone filter,4.56grs, detroit lcks, , cps and iat mod, 33x12 m/t.

Ok im in need of some steel half doors for both the front and rear of my xj. I usually take my doors off when i go wheelin but what something to hold things in. Hope some of you know where i can get some.

Ya I dont know of many whom make tube doors for the 2door.

 

nobody makes doors for the 2 door. you have to fab them yourself. BUT it actually wouldnt be hard. Even if you dont want to just get the tubes (some site sells just the tubes, no latches or hinges or mirrors, $50 for a set, tell them the length longer your doors are than a 4 door and theyll extend them as needed) then you got lik $200-250 left to spend (sincethe built 4 door ones are between $250 and $300) to pay someone to fab up the rest for you, and boom youre good to go. I cant remember hte sites name... i wanna say jeeptubes.com?

 

why cant you just get the set of front doors from the 4door for the 2 door?

 

The front door on a 2 door is longer IIRC.

i got half plexi doors goin on shhhhhhh its top secret i ned to geta pat. for it lol

 

I'm gonna bend mine out of 1 1/2 065 exhaust tubing and use a latch off of a across the bed tool box. The mirrors I'm just gonna get of something out of the pick and pull. I'm sure they won't look as good as those though. I'm gonna cut my mock doors out of a big piece of card board. Then take it to an exhaust shop, lay the cardboard on the floor and have them bend it to match the pattern. So many things to do, so little time and money.............................

 

they do make tube doors for the two and four door. they are through 4wheel parts.com. I just took the pick and made my own. it only cost me 100.00 to make all four. and about a weekend. not hard if your able to weld.

 

they do make them just cost alot just make your own or go to 4wheelparts.com their about 263 a piece. u can make them all for that
