no. Well maybe haha. But You've said you love the ride of your jeep correct? Well an add a leaf will make it ride like crap. Plus, if your springs are already sagging, that add a leaf will sag fast and you're back in the same boat with a worse ride haha

Hey Bugout, I'd thought you'd might want to save this in your scrap book.

I couldn't pull it to enlarge it in detail. The original full size is in my profile album here on CF if you need it.

Oh... Are you talking about the "Cherokee" overwrite? lol If so you are one of the very few who noticed it! Yeah, I took that image and "fixed it". It is a sign that I go by on the road to my mountain bugout property!

Hey Jordan! What tires are you running? Are those Dynapro ATMs by chance? They look great.
Thanks! Yes, they are the Dynapro ATMs. I didn't know much about them (there wasn't much info/reviews available on them yet when I was researching), it was my tire guy who pointed me towards them based on my needs. They have turned out to be a pretty good choice at a pretty good price. I wish they were just -slightly- more aggressive looking, but as far as performance is concerned I have been very satisfied. They have a reputation for getting louder as you put miles on them, and I have found that to be true. But not so loud that I dislike them.

Bet yours corners like it is on rails the way it sits now. I know mine does.
Well since mine is a factory Upcountry, it should already have the +1.5" up front, no?

Yeah it does handle corners well. But the only other vehicles I've owned are pickup trucks so my perception could be biased...

As sorry as this sounds I almost wish my suspension needed replacing. I have unintentionally turned my stock '00 Sport into a European Orvis/Country maybe Limited/Up Country clone. Unintentionally meaning I just upgraded her with the factory options I wanted. An Up Country suspension duplication, a 242 TC, a 8.25 Factory LSD, Infinity Sound package ( I did install some Infinity Tweeters), tranny cooler from the tow package, and some 16" Icons would pretty much complete it. That and heated seats with a power seat on the passenger side. Neither of those two which I care about too much though. I have done '98 GC 5.9 hood louvers and full size spare tire cover from the same, Spoilerlights spoiler, removable headrest leather seats with power on the driver's side, overhead console, cruise control, 6 CD changer in the back with the enclosure (she came with that), All 3 skid plates, front and rear tow hooks, factory mud flaps, map pockets on the door panels, and factory running boards. Probably a couple things I am forgetting.

A stock Jeep is one of those Urban legends.
You hear about it, but never really see one.
Best of luck with your XJ.

I was fine till I started frequenting these forums. I came here originally for some basic info on some basic repairs. The '00 was purchased kinda cheap. Running but not driveable. What happened was I started seeing all the posts here of what folks were doing. My simple little refresh took on a life of its own. The fact that I was running across a lot of parts to do all that pretty cheap on Craigslist and Ebay did not help. LOL.

I have to quote you too, you are right of course, first thing that goes is the OEM tire size and snowballs from there.

Ralph,
There are worse ways to spend your time and money. Any chance you could post a pic of your hood louvers?
