Agreed, but needs to be eliminated before condemning the pump.

Ok I just checked it and it dropped from 48-8 pounds within 15 seconds whether the fuel line is pinched in the front up by the rail or not so it's defiantly the pump

But if you pinch the hose in front, you isolate whats in between that point and the fuel pressure gauge...the fuel pump is behind where you pinch it off...so this would mean it's the front parts involved...or it's not completely pinched off.....or am I seeing this wrong?

Dang it, I'm retarted...your 100% correct...guess I need to look at it again I had another guy pinch the line while I had it running and I shut it off and it dropped to like 5 psi within seconds...I guess I need to look at it again lol

The moment of pinching is also important. If he pinches it with the engine still running, it will use the fuel from pinching point forward. Shut off and immediately after that completely pinch off the line.

It's still somewhat strange you loose almost all pressure within seconds...that would indicate quite a significant leak in front. Smelling any fuel?

I need to do it myself because i dont know if he knew what he was doing and i dont see any fuel leaking or smell any fuel, it seems like if it was leaking into the intake or something from the injector it would start weird or something too...it doesnt miss or anything it runs great, so i cant really see an injector being the problem expecially since it drops so fast also
