Starting problem
I have 1999 4.0 ltr Jeep Chereokee, about 4 weeks ago it started taking longer to start it, and have to keep the rev up untill the engine is warm else it dies. Today I am not able to start it at all, and it stops cracking and makes a clicking noise. Any ideas what I can do??

DId you try cleaning and tightening your battery cables? Just a thought. I'm having a hell of a time with my 95 5.2L. Everytime I put it in gear she stalls and then I can't start it for 15=20 minutes and even then it's not worth driving. Good Luck to you.

Sounds like a weak battery. On Chrysler vehicles when a battery gets weak it can cause the issue you are having. Being the alternator is regulated by the pcm and not a voltage regulator, it needs to have a certain voltage from the battery to keep all the electronics going until the alternator is ramped up and starts charging.
