Hey guys, have a problem with my 89 cherokee sometimes just turning over and not starting. Happened a couple months ago, replaced cap, wires, plugs and fired right up. Yesterday all of a sudden did it again, only thing I had did was check ac relay the day before. After checking everything again, I took off positive battey cable for about a minute and then it cranked right up. Drove it like normal for couple of days and then out of the blue it wouldn't start again, disconncted and reconnected battery cable again and it fired right up. Is this a sign of cps goiing bad or do I need to look for something else?

You need to find out if its fuel or spark. When its doing this pour a little gas in the throttle body. If it starts it gas if not its spark. After you narrow it down post back
