Starting issue.
SO i just started to have this issue for a few weeks now.
When i go to start my jeep it will seem to not have enought power to turn over like a dieing battery or a battery that is drawing to much power. It will turn over very very very slowly then pick up after like 15 secs. It also will not idle right of i have to slowy release the gas to get it to idle if i let go to fast it will die. When i turn the key to AUX power the battery meter will not register and the check gage light turns on.
I have a Red Top Optima that tests perfect, I have replaced the battery termals. tested the alterator and its perfect. Disconnect any power deivces that may be hooked up same issue. Its does not matter if i drove the jeep for 2 hours or 5 mins. once it turn off the jeep it will have the same issue. After it idles and all the gage works and it drives like normal.
Any ideas what could cause this issue?

The rough idle could just be the engine flooding from turning it over so much without it starting. or if could be sometheing else. I second having the computer scaned for codes, thats always a good place to start.
I would also remove the engine ground and starter cable. Clean them and re attach them.
