Starting in Cold Weather
I recently moved from Alabama to Pennsylvania for school and the Jeep is having trouble starting in this cold weather. Just wondering if anyone knew anything that would help that?

my 97 differs with cold as do most vehicles, usually takes one more or so crank to get it running

just talked to a friend that said their battery wont hold its charge in the new cold weather... it just needs to be replaced... AND, apparently costco has great batteries. the brand is kirkland and they exceed most specs!!

I have seen an XJ here in town with a block heater attached to it (like what diesels have, plug into the wall overnight, no cold starts)
Mine only slowly started once, that night it was below freezing. I may have problems when it goes below zero later in the winter
