94 cherokee 4.0 4x4 will not start. The engine won't even turn over. Replaced the starter, swapped ignition and starter relays, tried a new ignition switch and still nothing! I can use a wrench to turn the engine over by the pulley so its not locked up. Any ideas? I need to get to work in the morning :|

Have you checked NSS (assuming auto trans)?
If not, hold key in start position and move shifter back and forth from P to N a couple of times. If no reaction, NSS is probably okay, at least for initial troubleshooting.
Let us know.

I have physically checked it yet but I have tried starting it in neutral. Yes it is an automatic sorry I should've specified. I'm stuck. Tried to clean battery terminals/cables and even tried jumping it too. Still nothing

Did you try to start it by moving shifter as I outlined above? A long shot but I've been there, done that and it only takes a minute.
Appears you have otherwise covered the basics.
If you have a meter, you can probe the starter relay contacts to confirm that current is getting that far in the system.
Was it running well and just failed to start after a normal shutdown?
Hopefully some late evening revelers will log in and offer some other suggestions.

I haven't tried that yet. I'll give it a shot. I drove it home last night and everything was fine. I tried to start it today and that's where I'm stuck at.

What start mode contacts? On the ignition switch? I've tried swapping igniton switches out still nothing. I'm almost leaning towards a ceased engine but if that was the case I wouldn't be able to turn the crank with a wrench correct?

Long story short. This is my mud/off road toy turned dd due to reverse going out in my car so the igniton switch isn't on the steering column right now (partially because of laziness) so I have been using a screwdriver to start the jeep. Never had an issue doing this. I can hear what sounds like the fuel pump priming and that's about it. I tried moving from P to N and wiggling it as well. Still no luck

The NSS seems to be working properly. Its acting the same in P and N (I hear the fuel pump priming it sounds like) and when in D I get nothing like its supposed to. So I believe its good. I'll check it this weekend though

I'm also going to check all my grounds tomorrow. I'm having trouble locating the ones that go to the block. I've heard that could possiblybe the cause.
