standard seats to electric seats
Sup guys - I finally got an XJ, Its in really good condition, both in and out. but the interior is a little worn, 156k miles. I've got an opertunity to change the interior with another xj that had front end damage. Mine is a 1998 SE, 4 door, 4.0, 2wd, standard seats (non power). The doner is a 1997 4.0, 4x4, with power seats. The question I have is can i put The power seats in my Se? Do all xj's have a power seat harness some where? I'm sure I can take the harness from the doner, but is it a P I T A$$? I'll post pics soon. Thanks.

Well i know that a 93 cherokee country can be had with power seats but mine doesnt have then and when i removed my carpet to rhino line it there was no connector for it so i'm guessing there will be no connector for it if you didnt have that option.
But no biggy since you have the donor vehicle all you will need to do once you swap the seats in should be to just run power and ground. The factory power seats also you a circuit breaker for over load conditons so add that in and you should be good to go.
I read a few posts by other people and looks that just hooking up power and ground is it.
