Default stalling/missing when driving

hey i got a question, when im drivin my 93 xj, if i am going around or below 55 and im below 2,000 rpm's, sometimes it stalls for just a quick second, like it lost fuel pressure or something, but only for a very short time, maybe a quarter second, then it goes fine again. it doesnt do it at higher speeds, actually it happens the most around 35 mph or so, in higher gears at lower rpm's, and i have no idea what it is, if it is normal for these, or if it is a sign of something serious about to happen. its an inline 6 h.o. and a manual. if anybody knows about this, please inform me, so i can sleep at night lol thanks

I had a simular problem with mine it wasn't stalling completely but was running rough the engine would shutter and shake bad around 40mph and it ended up just needing new spark plug wires. Maybe that would be something to look into?

ill check them, it has 62,000 miles on it now, and in the one previous owners manual it says he changed the spark plugs at 43,000 but it didn't say anything about the wires or distributor or rotor or anything else, ill check those and get back to ya, thanks for the tip

Mine did exactly the same. It did it most when driving in 4th at low RPMs. I found out it was the CPS connector thet needed to be cleaned.

crankshaft position sensor. also, with 62k miles on it, its time to do a tune up. Plugs, wires, fuel filter, and change the distributor cap and rotor.
