There was a site that had a "how-to" install coil spacer on XJ and they used the Isolator as well.

I am running a 3/4" poly spacer with my stock rubber isolator as well. Any writeup or howto on installing coil spacers they all say keep the stock isolators in the factory location and run the poly spacer between the coil and the isolators. So I'll continue doing that..

I've seen you post on more than one occasion stating false facts. Is that not wrong? You're not helping anyone by typing "what someone said somewhere once" or what you read on some forum.

And yes, you are wrong in this instance. I'm just trying to better inform the people on this forum.

No I'm not wrong read any manufactures web site it states DO NOT STACK SPACERS... It's a safety issue...

Dude.

Slow down and read. This isn't stacking spacers, when you install a BB spacer, you put the stock isolator in between the coil and BB spacer, otherwise the spring folds over the poly. And I have two stock isolators stacked on my Jeep and OH MY GOD ITS KILLING CHILDREN EVERYWHERE.

Simple, staying on topic and relevant is ok but simply ridiculing someone for poor spelling has nothing to do with this topic there for it is not needed. You have an issue with someones spelling PM them otherwise move on and ignore it.

Any of the isolaters that I've had to deal with have been stuck like Chuck to the spring perch anyway, so I leave them. I stacked 1.75" & 1" spacers, as well as the isolaters on my ZJ and never had any issues, safety or otherwise. I'm not saying anyone is WRONG, this has just been my experiences, nothing more. I do think that this thread has a bit of tone to it that doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy!! I don't think that anyone here, is, or would, for that matter, state something that they knew was out and out wrong. People have a lot of different views on things involving vehicles and their safety. I do think there are better ways to say that you don't agree with a statement that someonoe made, though.

Think about it....

It was merely a tongue in cheek comment.

If spelling is that much of a serious matter on this forum that it is referred to as "ridicule" when you correct someone (grammar by the way) then I apologize for my ridiculing ways.

Lighten up everybody.
