Hi Guys,

Since the day I drive my 2014 Jeep Cherokee out of the dealership, I can hear a squeaky/rattle noise coming from the back of the car. Most of the time, when the round is not flat, I can hear a squeaky sound (like a noisy spring goes up and down). With the help of my wife, we figured it out that the noise comes from the back seat.

I did some search online and find out some people had this issue but no clear solution. I have moved the seat back and forth, even fold it down. The sound is still there.

I hope someone here may provide a solution. Or do I need to bring it back to the dealer? If so, will they charge for the diagnostic or it is fully covered by the warranty?

Post it in "KL Cherokee Tech" which is about midway down on the home page menu.

But I would take it back to the dealership. It's under warranty.

 

If you bought it new I'm sure they will cover it seeing how its less than a year old. Just call em and see, worst they can say is no
