go to the link I posted above, you have to have the specific install kit, post angles are different from one vehicle to another. You install the crown vic one and you might end up with the handle sticking up in your face and the light slammed into the fender.

 

When i installed mine i picked the angle i wanted it and it looks awesome. Ill post pics in the morning. and no there NO wind noise what so ever even at highway speeds

 

where did you get yours? new with install kit, or used off a different vehicle?

 

I found my kit actually on craiglist, brand new with mounting kit $30!! Only took 30-45 minutes total install time.

Unity Mfg makes them, dunno about XJs though.

I sell them for cop cars all day long, though.
