I have a quick question about the spline count on my transfer case. I feel bad having to ask but I'm away in college and can't go look myself.

I have a 91 XJ Laredo, 4.0 HO, AW4 transmission, np231 transfer case. I was wondering since I can't go look if anyone knew for certain what the spline count was.

23 and prob med length but possibly the long length.

So I was thinking 21, but thats just a guess.

 

Yes, the 91 was HO. Idk if it being HO makes a difference or not...was thinking that was mainly up to which transmission it was bolted up to.

 

90 will be 21 91 is 23.
