Had an sye installed and my speedometer stopped working. I read that was common and to rotate it 180 and try again. Well I did that about 5 times bought a brand new speed sensor drove around a while still nothing.

I know to read the # on the gear and match that with the set on the side put the bottom of the fork in so it sits right.
I have no speedometer nor the odometer is adding any miles.

What do I do now?

 

Remove speedo and look in the hole make sure the gears inside? This is basic idea....

 

Kinda helped. I will try to see if the gear goes on the sensor's peg.
The difference is though it is a 2001 and is an electric speed sensor no cable

 

It's fixed if anyone else has a problem like me check the wires one of mine was fryed and wasn't making a connection even though it looked together and fine.
