I have a 1991 4.0L Cherokee XJ with the AX-15 Transmission. I changed the speed sensor and I noticed that the housing that the speed sensor screws onto has bad threds. I can not tighten up completly the new sensor I have. can any one tell me where I can get a new sensor mount ? I am not sure what the correct name for it is either. I have been looking on line and on E-Bay for sensor mount and can not find anything. any ideas ? thanks...OH also, when I tighten up the speed sensor, do I make it tight enough to not move ? or is it supposed to be lose and floppy ? mine is, and it can't tighten down, that is why I am looking for the new mount. thanks in advance

 

A picture would be most helpful.. you might be able to drill it out and insert a helicoil in it?
