Default plugged

My un-obtainium 11 electrode plugs(one more than ten) give me 30 mpg and at least 300hp.

Ditto on the Bosch. They tested out at 11% horsepower increase on the dyno on a Dodge.

I'm about to blow your mind but I actually use OE style NGK's in mine and I have seen some difference.. (1990 renix style)

A little FYI,, the platinum bosch's are the same that are used in a 90's-2003 Dodge Viper...

Also, Don't regap your platinums, you will wear off the coating on the electrode tip.. Always, always, ALWAYS check your gap on Champions and Autolites, from experience I have seen them to be the worst (next to ACDelco's) with gapping issues.

Cheers.

Josh

i use the ngk's and you defiantly need to check your gaping they are not preset for the cars so you can put yours in with out gaping them but maybe you have just been lucky

Default Platimums for imports, champions for the straight six

I have a 2001 cherokee sport, a 2002 Wrangler, and a 2002 Honda Civic. The Civic only runs well on bosch platinums, however BOTH jeeps only run well on the champions.

I have made the $40+ mistake of buying platinums, plus 2s and plus 4s. Every time this resulted in lower fuel economy, and less (noticably less) power.

I've got iridium plugs in my 98. Seems fine to me. Am I going a little overboard here though? Idk.

Tried the bosch +4 on my 00xj. Seemed like it idled rough for a few months.
Replaced them with autolite double plats and engine runs smooth. They were a pain to gap though.

I'm running those too. Mine runs great, though it didn't run bad on the Champion Coppers that were in there before.
