Default The sound in 4H (4x4) - normal or problem?

Hi guys,
so we had couple snowy days here and I drove my '96 sport (it's auto) on snowy roads here in 4H. Seems to work ..but, I was wondering ( as I have no prev. experience with jeeps 4x4...I'm kinda a beginner here and so have no clue what's normal what's not)...
when I shift to 4H I start hearing sound comming from front end that is pitching up/down with the speed. It seems a bit louder when I take foot off the accelerator and roll down the hill (but maybe it's just seems to be "louder" as I hear it more clear as it's being less masked by engine sound).

So, my stupid question of the day is: is it normal for 4x4 or should I worry.

Mine is D30 front. I've checked both dif fluids levels, it's up to the hole, but I have not changed the fluid yet. It's 205K machine, I have no service history.

thanks in advance, guys
