Default Someone please help

I sucked alot of water into my Transmission. I took it to Buy rite and they flushed it several times. They also put lucas in it. It then started leaking. I took it to another place and they put in a new filter and flushed it again. Then it blew a front seal. Took it back to the garage and they dropped the tranny and put a new front seal rear seal and motor seal. She is not leaking now but the Garage says I only have about a month and I will need to put a new tranny in her cause the transmission pump is going out...... What else can I expect to happen from getting water in the transmission?

You should expect it to not work right. lolol.. Sounds like you should have just had it replaced/rebuilt, instead of spending all that money on getting seals and flushes done.

If its automatic its an AW4, if its manual its an AX-15 i believe. Those trannies are a dime a dozen, especially AW4s. Just find a new one somewhere.

definitely, do not put no more money in that transmission. if they said that only the pump is bad, then find a holdover AW4 (since you said pump, i'm presuming its automatic) from a jy and then you can actually replace the pump on your own pretty cheap. while you're under, check your flexplate, torque converter, u-jounts etc.

Cool

2nd opinion needed. Besides the pump would have been a easy job since they had the trans out to replace the front seal.
