Hey guys, another question..this one is a weird one...i can start it up...every now and then, and it starts fine...other times it doesn't want to start on the first time...jeep thing? lol.


The other thing i have noticed it sometimes after you start it, and go to take off down the road, it doesnt seem like its got power at all momentarly, if you stop it, it takes a second then kicks in...then its fine it wont do it again until once in maybe 1 out of 10 starts itll do it again..

im not sure if it could be a fuel pump dying, or heck maybe it needs some plugs, not sure, planning on cleaning the iac and the tps tomorrow...any ideas?


Took my distributor cap off wallago and checked the points...there was some corrosion on a few points, but nothing an emery cloth didnt take care off...also the rotor was in good shape, just had a bit of corrosion on it so i cleaned it off as well and put it back together...this didnt change anything

checked my trans fluid, it was low, added 3/4 of a quart and good to go..

 

What year is your Cherokee? Inline 6 W/Auto trans?
