Default Slave gasket/ seal ?

There's a rubber gasket type seal that is just sitting on the line going into the tranny/ bell housing , must have overlooked it when reinstalling. Do you think that has anything to do with my clutch being weak?

I doubt it. I would think it needs to be bled if anything.

Is it an internal or external slave?

External , when I bled it just sputtered air and fluid for like 20 tries, never got a solid stream. There must be some purpose to that seal/gasket
