Default Sizing for a Westin Bull Bar

Hey, I've been looking on craigslist for a bull bar and have found a couple, and I really have no idea if there are certain sizes of them. I'm not really 100% sure if one from a 2004 dodge ram is going to fit my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport, or how it would be mounted. If anyone has done this or knows anything about it can shed some light on the issue for me it would be very much appreciated.

well i dont think they make actual "bull bars" for the xj but im sure you could fab it up to where it would work, you would have to bolt/weld it and stuff

yea they do.. look at quadratec, rustys offroad.... etc any offroad distributor/manufacture site

you would be better off buying a bumper for a cherokee or just making one from scratch....

If you pull one from another style vehicle.... it won't flow with the body lines and won't match to the headlights/grill and it will just look hillybilly backyard fabricated as hell
you would need to prolly cut the bumper down (in width) and then cut off the previous bracket setup and make some other type of bracket setup for your cherokee....

An ARB Bull Bar is slightly different then a Westin Bull Bar, in cost, looks, and use.

Right, well your not going to find those sold for a XJ, but I'm sure there are plenty of ways to modify one to fit...it just won't fit exactly or well possibly.

Why not just get an aftermarket bumper instead?

those things are not that great.... if your going for looks and not functionality... ok
but if your going for durability, then your barking up the wrong tree
