ok looking for an ac clutch for a 00 cherokee. every where i call and every one i talk to says only the comp w/clutch can be replaced. i would rather not spend $199 on a revamped ac compressor. i know a clutch can be found out there. what sites do you guys use to find parts? thanks gents. if this is in the wrong forum please excuse my stupidity! ! !

 

For things of that nature, I would go to the local JY and just get the whole thing. As a matter of fact, I have to go out later and get an alternator cuz I'm not spending $130 on a new when I know I will just go get mud all through it an need a new one again soon anyway. Most JY's around here have a 30 day warranty just in case whatever you get is no good.

 

which is very true about the jy but i would rather not evacuate the entire system if i could help it. but thanks for the quick response! ! ! ! ! ! !
