Default Single or Double flare on Steel brake lines??
i have to install i new hardline for my XJ and i order steel brake line 3/16" from summitracing. do i need to double flare the end? or just single since it steel? thanks!

OE is a double flare .... all fittings you get that are not a european ( bubble flare ) are a double flare.

Not sure, but I have a double flare tool, so that's what I used. Seems to be working well
