I currently have a 3" lift running 31 x 10.50s on Cragar Soft 8's with 4 inch backspacing and did minor trimming on the front fenders (which i like the look of anyways). I am looking at removing my lift and selling it to go back to stock as it has caused some other issues (vibes even after TC drop, brake clicking that wasn't there before, not being able to align properly, etc). So I am going back to stock and looking at 235/75/15's but I am curious if I will be able to keep my Soft 8's with 4" BS and not rub with that tire size since I did do the trimming up front? Any one ever done this or know if this works?

If it doesn't rub with the wider tires, it wont rub with the stockers. Too bad about your issues with the lift. Ive got 4 1/2" on mine with no t case drop or slip yoke eliminator and no vibes or alignment issues whatsoever. You just have to know how to set everything up properly.

You should be fine(running 30X9.5 with super sagging suspension and no rubbing anywhere), I can see why the 99 works with no issues seeing it has the high pinion front axle where the 00-01 do not...

How wide are the rims? That's the real factor to be looking at right now. If they are too wide (say 10") 235/75's aren't going to like them much.

The rims are 15x7's, so i dont think that will be much of an issue. Was just curious about bottoming out and knocking off my fenders.
