I know this is a simple question with a simple answer…however, I do not know, so I am asking here. Thank you. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. What do I switch/turn, and where is it located on my dash to turn off my interior lights coming on when doors are opened? I am uncertain and do not want to turn wrong ****. I have read it, wherever it is, could also adjust my dashboard brightness — just do not know where and how to use such switch. Please describe. Thank you for helping me.

 

There is no switch to turn the interior lights off when the doors are open. the headlight switch controls the dash brightness and can turn on the dome light when the doos are closed. you can disconnect the door switches so the dome light wont turn on when you open the doors.
