Siezed Motor and Failing Tranny
This is my first Jeep I've ever owned, purchased it for 450. Guy I bought it from said the head gasket was blown and a rocker arm backed off. I started it just to make sure that there was no issue in the bottom end of the engine, and it siezed.
After towing it home, and starting the tear down to remove the engine, I noticed what looked like oil coming from the transmission cooler lines. Pulled the dipstick and sure enough, burnt. I've never had to pull both engine and tranny before, so my question is, with the entire front end off, can I pull them together?
I can't be mad about it, for one it was 450, and two; it has 240k on the original motor and transmission.
