Should I keep my side moldings? I have some damage to then on the passenger side, theyre faded, kind of ugly. and I can't decide. Any input would help, thanks.

I think I'm just going to take them off. I just like opinions. What's the best way to get the double sided tape off without getting the eraser thing?

Keep them, they break up the body and give it a nice line, Im trying to find molding for my passenger door, mine is black with a red center stripe on my 94 xj... ive looked online and cant find it.

They protect your door quite a bit, so they do serve a good purpose. Besides that, I think the big, boxy body of our XJ's looks better when broken up by the side moldings. I took mine off and PROMPTLY put them back on as it looked HIDEOUS without them. Just my opinion though.

I took em off on my 97, tried a low temp heat gun for melting plastic onto RC airplane wings and "goo gone" neither really worked. Simple green, a rag and a blistered finger. Took me 2 hours... before and after! I like it, but I also like the older body styles over the new ones. They're too bubbly haha, look at the mirrors!
