Default Side mirror removal on an 88'?

So I replaced my doors on my 88' XJ and the straight doors I put on it didn't have any mirrors so I wanna take my side mirrors off my old doors and put em on the new ones. I got the door panels off and the 2 screws on their, the only thing left connecting them is the wires for the mirror adjustment. How do I get the mirrors the rest of the way off?

There is normally a set screw on the inside trim that keeps the adjuster in, loosen that and it'll slide out then go for the mirror.
