Thursday I put gas in my jeep drove it 41 miles ran great then all of a sudden -- it started to run rough and choking itself out. I made it home and replaced the idle control sensor, and the throttle position sensor and it is still running rough. It's a 89 jeep xj - 4.0 liter. Today (Saturday) I replaced the fuel filter and plugs. Monday I will change out my wires. The distributor and rotor look good as the previous owner had already replaced them.

Welcome to the world have having a Renix 4.0 its a great system and can be fixed with a little time... did you take a fuel pressure reading yet? check your grounds?The cap and Rotor are they brass?
