Default Should I be Worried?

Alright, so I replaced my fuel rail the other day and bent the plastic fuel line leading to the quick disconnect a little. There's a little mark where you can tell it was bent. It doesn't leak or anything, but I was wondering if I should replace the line just to be safe since the exhaust manifold is close to it and I don't want any fires.

Hmmm..my guess would be if its broken open then yes. Cause that's the only way fumes are going to get out to start a fire, which I don't even see happening anyways?

It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Its not broken or leaking. It just has a small crease in it that is visable. I've driven the jeep around for 20 miles or so yesterday and everything is fine, i've popped the hood for the last couple days to check for leaks and theres nothing. I don't smell gas either so im sure its fine. Im probably going to replace it anyway.

That's usually what I go by. Im gonna see if I can replace the line with a stainless braided one because it would look sick with the new fuel rail I put in.

I would definitely err on the side of caution when it comes to something that could potentially cause a fire. A little bit of time and money spent now could save you your entire rig later on down the road. Why even bother taking the risk?

I also agree. Im just saying if gas isnt coming out of it. Its jsut not like going to randomly blow up..other wise our cars/trucks/eveything on the road could just randomly blow up then..thats all i was saying.

Its always better to be safe than sorry. but if its not leaking at all..then theres no problem (other than the look/physical appearance of it)
