Default Should I try 31's

Alright guys im sitting stock right now and im planning on lifting soon. But im getting new tires and I have been looking at 30's but im wondering if i can fit 31's. I know this gets asked a lot but i have trimmed the bumpers just not the body. Im also getting new wheels 15x8 with 4" backspace. What do you think I dont mind it rubbing while flxing im most concerned about turning on the LCA's. Any thoughts?

On 225's

FWIW, it's really NDB if the tires rub on the LCAs.

Keep in mind that with 31's when running in overdrive on the highway your trans is going to shift alot, to correct this you are going to need 4:10 gears front and rear and a new carrier in the front axle. And with 31's the tires are going to be stuffed into the wheel wells esp on wheels with a 4" back space, they will stick out past the fenders. this limits any offroad use. Thats no fun.

Well I have a 3.73 gear ratio right now and will correct the speedo. I also have read that with the 4" backspace they will stuff okay into the wheel well is this not true?

They may stuff but it will be real close. I've seen guys run offset wheels and the tire has contacted the body and cut deep grooves in the tread.
