I have a bad check valve in my XJ, which causes what you describe on the very first start up of the day. Try the poor mans prime as suggested above. Do you have a long crank time? Could need a new fuel pump regulator or injectors. My bet is the check valve.

Lol i thought with my latest info maybe it changed the diagnosis.

I figure it has to be electrical because it only happens within the first 10 seconds of a cold start. If i let it sit for a couple minutes and then take off it runs perfect. Unless it takes the computer a couple seconds to readjust itself.

I am changing the oil this week. I may just do the plugs and wires as well.
See if that has any effect.

I have always bought the bosch 02's and never had issues. Especially not after 1 month. I dont think the issue is my 02's.

I ran into this thread while searching. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/1...on-why-907723/
does that sound logical?

It's cheap enough to replace the ECT sensor. Shotgun it.

Try NAPA. I don't trust BWD or other sensors of their ilk.

Mopar ECT's are expensive, so try a cheap one to see if it fixes it.
