I just noticed that the upper pin on one of my hatch hinges was backing out. When I tapped it back in realized that it didn't go all the way through into the last third of the hinge. Looks like the last third of the pin sheered off and fell out. Has anyone had this happen? This is a '99 with the steel hatch. The hatch is functioning fine. Everything aligns and there is no sign that the Jeep has ever been hit in the rear. I don't take this one off road so the body hasn't been stressed.
