Hey all, not sure if this is normal or a bad thing, but in my 1994 Cherokee Country when I shift from neutral to drive, or from reverse to park, etc, my jeep will jump either forward or backwards respectively. Is this a problem?
Thanks!

its not that big of a prob how long has it been since you did maintenance on your transmission?
Edit: almost every automatic transmission will jump or hop when you put it in drive from neutral/park or in reverse from neutral/park

Well, I just bought the XJ in October, aside from keeping fluids good and routine changes I haven't done a thing to the tranny. Thanks for the reply

mines been doing it for like 20k miles since i got it. If you pause in neutral and put it in gear while rollling no more than 1 mph it wont pop.
