She's coming along nicely
As I mentioned in another post, I replaced all my tie rod ends and the steering damper, which made a HUGE difference in how my XJ handles.
Today I had planned on replacing the fuel filter but, the hoses looked a little rough and we didn't have any in the right diameter so, that'll have to wait for another day.
While I was under there, I checked all my U-joints for play and they all seem to be in excellent shape so that's one less thing I have to worry about replacing.
I finally found my rattle coming from the back. My leaf springs are so flattened out that the shackles are actually bumping against the brackets when going over uneven pavement. So........my new springs, shocks, bump stops and various other items should fix that problem once I get and install them.

I did my lift 2 years ago. Buy somw new, preferrably greasable shackles while you're doing it. I look back now, and realize how easy they would have been to replace while I had my baby all apart in the barn.
50$ more is worth it.
GJ. Good luck.
