My jeep is smooth when it is just rolling on the road without and gas pedal applied but when i step on the gas even a small amount the truck shakes like bad rotors and brakes. Any idea why my cherokee would shake when the gas is applied?It is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee

 

My 00 Grand did that for a while when I got my jeep my senior year of high school (2007-8). My mom had it taken to a shop and it didn't do it anymore. If I had to guess if say the mounts were weak, but I honestly have no clue. I just mentioned that because if it's only when you give it gas then I would first look at the engine mounts since that's the part that is doing the engining lol

 

It could be a few things. Maybe a driveline vibration.

 

It is smooth when your a coasting though so the drive shaft etc is still spinning when coast so idk, it is only when you hit the gas it shakes bad. Anyone else have this problem?
