Default Serpentine Belt too tight?

I replaced my serpentine belt and now a hear I faint clunking every once and awhile from one of the pullies. Is is possible to make the belt to tight?

Go get a Krikit gauge, my local O'Reilly's had to order me one but it's a life saver.

In the time that it took you to get on the computer and post this thread, you could have loosened your belt a tad to see if it made a difference... That's what I would suggest you do

It is very possible. But there must be a bearing that was already starting to go bad on one of you pulleys. If it were me I would remove the belt and check all of the pulleys for looseness or rough while spinning.
