I have a 96 with the 4.0, just finished an engine swap and my temp and oil pressure gauges are not working. The engine came out of a 96 with dummy gauges but my jeep has real ones. Is there a difference in the sending units used?
Thank you!

yup get a temp sensor for a gauge and an oil pressure sending unit for a gauge.... if you go to a parts store they should ask you if its for a light/gauge
i had to do the same thing to a couple of jeeps i swapped the motors into.... if the temp sensor still doesn't work afterword then you got an issue....
