seems like balljoint play but the abs groove ring is moving ??

seems like my ball joints are bad but they arent mooving when look at them and shake the wheel . the 3 hub bolts are tight . i have 2 bad universal joints in the axle too idk what could be causing this extra play in the wheels

Sounds like the unit hub bearing is bad.

Could I just tighten the center nut a little bit to see if that would take up the extra play ?

I don't think tightening the nut will help. It sounds to me like your bearing is shot.

If they ABS ring is moving you might want to order a new bearing assembly. That your problem. It wouldn't move around with bad balljoint. Your whole knuckle would be moving around.
