Security module removal
I just got a '90 Cherokee. The previous owner told me that the power door locks worked fine until he removed and trashed the security module. I've read enough while doing web searches on these problems to know that I don't want another security module. However, it would be kinda nice if I could get the power door locks working again.
I tried putting in a bypass or jumper wire into the plug left hanging under my dash to restore power to the locks. I experimented with a couple of combinations, but then chickened out, fearing that I'd short something out and compound my problem.
Can anyone tell me how I can restore power to the locks?
Thanks, Thom
