Got a 91 XJ....seats are broke down and kill my back. My 05 Liberty's seats are comfy and never hurt me. Should I try the junk yard? Get some corbeau seats? Liberty seats? Please help.

haha i broke my seats in my old 91, luckily we have local jeep guru's who found a donor vehicle

junkyard is best

even if you can find a jeep for 500 dollars

you can get the good parts out and sell the rest, people always need jeep part

ZJ seats should bolt right up to your rails nice and comfy

ZJ/WJ seats will NOT be a direct bolt in for a 91. They are for 94+ XJ's. Check the write up section on here and you can see how to make the ZJ/WJ swap work for your 91. Takes a little fab work, but nothing too bad. The easiest option would be to find another set from a 84-93 XJ in a JY.

with it being a unibody....cant I make new holes and use good washers and grade 8 hardware?

Could, but with a seat, I'd want as much strength as possible. Besides, the mounting brackets for the ZJ/WJ seats and the 95+ XJ seats are VERY different from the 84-93 XJ ones.
