i know theres lots of people who've put zj seats in an xj and whatnot, but what kind of seats will go in a 2 door cherokee that will fold forward like the stock ones to let people in the back?

 

There was a write up and putting ZJ seats in a 2 door XJ. All the guy did was pull apart his seats and swap out the little lean-back/fold-forward mechanism and put it in the ZJ seats. It didn't look hard at all, but I have no clue where to find the write up anymore. I looked, but couldn't find it when I last checked.

 

hmm, did they make the zj seats in tan? and is the fitting of the rear seats in the 2 door any different that the 4 door? i read somewhere you could put zj rear seats in as well and i figured if im gonna do it, i might as well replace em all lol

 

Not sure about the interior colors. His interior was gray along with the ZJ seats. Back seat should be the same. I see no reason for it to mount differently. I've never seen the ZJ rear seat conversion done, but I'm not saying it can't be done. With minor fabrication skills, you can make anything fit
