Default seat swap, couldn't find it on search

Yes, I know I can swap in ZJ seats which is what I plan to do. But as of now my motor in my stock seat is dead. Can I swap the seat rails and all or is it just the cushions?

You have to fab some brackets to make it work but its very doable. Here is write up.

I can't believe people still read that awful writeup. Anyway I ended up redoing my seats in that cherokee (which is now sold). Run a solid piece of angle iron and run the bolts really close to the frame for stability. Or better yet if you have a welder weld them in. The first ones I did in that writeup worked but ended up denting my floor pan in a bit...

Give yourself some credit, that write up gives good info for someone that has never done something like this before.
