Hey guys,

I'm new to the board and have a question.

On my 2000 Cherokee (XJ I'm learning), the driver's seat frame broke. The seat is rigged to stay up right currently, but I'm on the lookout for a replacement.

I'm searching craigslist and junkyards, and know that this body style runs 1997-2001. Are there other years that will work for this? Will the seats from a Grand Cherokee work also?

Grand Cherokee seats should bolt right in onto your Jeep. If not it will with slight modification.

Another thing to remember is that if your seats are not automatic, you will need to make the GC manual. Which isn't difficult from what I know. Just something that needs done.
