Picked up some leather headrest bucket seats and the back leather seat from a '99 for my '00. The driver's seat is pretty bad. Passenger pretty good. Back seat real good. Was a package deal with a bunch of other stuff. Got them cheap. At least I think so. Have been poking around the Wet Okole site. They do look nice. Figure I would go talk to my upholstery guy first and see how bad a mistake this was buying them. LOL. Might end up being cheaper to buy expensive seat covers. Which I am OK with covering up the leather. It wasn't the leather that made me buy them it was the head rests.

 

Just want to mention an awesome coincidence. Today I was searching google for jeep xj seat covers/reviews/posts, and came across this thread (totally independently from browsing this site). Then tonight I get on to check the forums and this same thread has just today been resurrected after 6 years, and is sitting on the first page of new/unread posts for this forum. What are the chances of that.

So I have an idea. I've been looking for some good seat covers as well, what with my last set of walmart brand covers being absolutely disintegrated within a year. I had the idea that if you could get some and mock them up to look like thesehttp:// things. you could have someone sew it or you sew it yourself. give me feedback because I'm thinking about doing this and will post pics if I do.

 

Until this thread popped up I forgotten about it. I settled on on Coverking Rhinohide Seat Covers. Bought them last year. Between the holiday sale and a promo code picked up front and back for $320. Started my seat rehab so I have some shots. The last shots are just the upper half of the driver's seat. Still some rehabbing to do.
