So, i have searched for a thread specifically for the removal of seats and carpets, and have not found one, although it maybe on page 586. lol. Anyway, this thread is hopefully going to give short cuts and hints on which bolts to be VERY careful with and same for plastics. So here goes.
I am getting ready to remove seats and carpet so i can patch my floorpans. I was wondering if there is an easy way and how to remove the rear seats (the front seats are pretty self explanatory.) I have an 88, and the carpet shouldn't be hard, but my concern is the back seat, as it looks like a pain.
Thanks in advance for any help, and i know its basic, but thats where it looses me.

I think the back seats are easier than the fronts. Couple bolts on the side and pull them out. Taking out the carpet was harder than the seats. You have to remove the center console, kick panels, molding around doors, seat belts and then fight to get it out. The backing on the oem carpet is really thick. Good luck!!

lol. Thanks. I have been working on building my jeep up that i didn't look, and it is currently filled with parts, as it is my garage while i work, so i couldn't go out and look before work... I looked at the carped they have at walmart, just incase my carpet is rotted. Changing carpet color is easy, but everything in my jeep is Purple
so now onto that. Appreciate the help, realized that was probably a stupid question anyway since i didn't look first.
